WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

SUNDAY SCHOOL
9:30 am

Each Sunday classes are available for all ages.  We have a team of dedicated, loving teachers, who not only share eternal truths from God's Word, but also care about each student individually.  We've learned that Bible study doesn't have to be monotonous to be effective.

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
10:30 am

If you enjoy good music, and practical preaching that confronts the daily issues of dealing with life, then we have a place for you!  Our goal in worship is to encounter the living, eternal God, and then let that encounter mold us into the very image of God, and give purpose for what we do with our lives.  Worship is priority number one at First Assembly of God.  Pastor Mike sometimes goes through a particular book in the Bible, covering several verses each week, and at other times discusses various topics that our society and families confront.  An example of topics might include: "How to forgive," "Three steps out of stress," or, "Loving unlovable people," and many other messages exploring personal relationships, personal finances, our relationship with God, etc.  Our music for this service is a blended format of both contemporary praise and worship songs and traditional hymns.

LIFE STUDY GROUPS
Sunday, 6:00 pm

Currently, we are meeting in the fellowship hall at 6:00 pm for fellowship and Bible study with the pastor.  We recently concluded a study of "What's so amazing about grace?" by Phillip Yancey, and have started a series of weekly studies on various topics, in a format of questions, answers, and lively discussion.

At other times, we meet for a time of fellowship and refreshments, then enjoy a study together with time for discussion and interaction. Sometimes we meet in small groups in homes, sometimes we meet as one group in the church fellowship hall. Some of the studies we have done include: "The Purpose-Driven Life," by author Rick Warren, "The Five Love Languages," "Personality Plus," and "Financial Freedom" by Larry Burkett.
